Tuesday 13th April - Fish Tank (15)
Dir: Andrea Arnold (UK 2009, 123 mins)112 mins)

Mia is 15, all elbows and anger, going at her life in a rundown apartment complex in Essex as if it were one long skirmish in this exceptionally well-crafted drama. The film features Katie Jarvis, a 17-year-old newcomer who so completely captures the innocence, cynicism and rage of a child of poverty and divorce on the edge of adulthood that it feels as if you are spying on Mia, so achingly real, so tangible does her world seem here.

Tuesday 20th April - Vicki Cristina Barcelona (PG13)
Dir: Woody Allen (Spain/USA 2008, 96 mins)

A sexy romp involving a ménage a trois that keeps changing like the ever-changing tide of love itself. Its central location in the city of Barcelona, bathed in a golden glow and filled with its distinctive Gaudi architecture, perfectly captures the romance in this tale of adventures of the heart. Javier Bardem casts his bedroom eyes at Scarlett Johansson and Rebecca Hall until the fiery, scene-stealing Penelope Cruz bursts onto the scene.
